Ghawdix, or Ghawdex, the other name for Gozo in Malta, is a newly created website by locals, sharing information on the destruction of the unique Gozitan landscape.
When we think sustainability, we MUST take the environment into account – Mother Earth herself.
It is the local people of Ghawdex who are rightfully concerned about what looks like systematic and careless destruction of Gozo by “developers” grabbing land for careless construction of properties.
This short-term thinking has to end.
The affairs of Gozo must remain in Gozitan hands, their voices must be heard – it it their native land and their future.
